The Four Internes were based out of Durham, North Carolina. They started recording in 1951. This particular release was recorded at the King Recording Studios in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 2nd, 1953. The group made their last recordings in 1958. I am fortunate enough to have all the groups output and will be posting more in time. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the men in the this group all worked at a hospital, thus "The Four Internes" became their name.
The Four Internes are another personal favorite. I have to agree with Billboard.....no gospel fan could go wrong with this one..........
