Well, here is some low-fi gospel for you. The 78 is as clean as a whistle but is was not blessed with much in the way of frequency response. None the less, the spirit comes through loud and clear. This record is from December of 1955. Based on my digging around, it seems that Hollywood Records was actually owned and managed by Don Pierce of Starday fame. Oh...and regarding The Abraham Brothers, I know nothing....but the record grooves along like a freight train. Great stuff....
